Week of workouts – The Fitnessista

Here’s a glimpse into how I structure my weekly training.

Hiiiiii! how are you? I hope you are having a wonderful morning! Today we are at Disneyland. I can’t wait to ride all the rides, eat Disney treats, and enjoy fun memories with my favorite people.

I won’t be doing any “official” training this week, but I’ll definitely be walking 20,000 steps per day (not counting the long drive home). In today’s post, I’d like to talk a little bit about how my recent workouts have been and how my week is structured.

It varies depending on the week, but I will mainly write about the following contents.

Combines three strength classes ā€“ F45, Pure Barre Define (my current favorite!), and Fit Team Strength Training (a low-impact modification).

1-2 hot yoga or barre classes (I teach barre every other week and do about 80% of my workouts in class)

1-2 days of cardio at Peloton and/or Sculpt Society (use this link for a free trial of the app!)

1-2 days off

1 week training

Here’s what a week looks like:

Sunday: Closed

Monday: Hot or power yoga

Tuesday: F45 whole body or Fits the entire team

Wednesday: Peloton or sculpture association

Thursday: F45 legs or fit the team’s feet

Friday: Pure Barre (Define or Classic) or Pilates

Saturday: Hiking, sculpture association, or off

I also take daily walks with Maisie (usually 1-2 miles around the neighborhood) and on my walking pad during meetings.

You may notice that you don’t do as much cardio or interval training. I finally feel like I’m in a position to push myself a little harder with cardio again. Aerobic exercise releases histamine, which was the cause of my eyes. It can also be even more debilitating if you have autoimmune conditions. I realized last year that I couldn’t push myself as much as I used to because I would be sore and tired for days on end. Also, twice I fell ill after a very hard workout, which is unusual for me.

Thanks to this schedule, I was able to stay active without pushing myself too hard. Itā€™s working for me now šŸ™‚
