And we will also need 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 2 cups water, 3 tablespoons cooking oil, and Add as much ground black pepper as you want.

How to make pork chop steak

1. Marinate the meat

Step 1 Marinate the pork chops

First, prepare a large bowl. Then add the pork chops, soy sauce, 5 crushed garlic cloves, the juice of 1 lemon, and ground black pepper inside. Mix all these well. Then let it sit for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

2. Cook the pork

Step 2 Fry the pork chops

Once marinated, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a frying pan. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops. Fry this for about 2 and a half minutes, then turn it over to the other side. Boil the pork for the same amount of time and remove from the pot.

3. Stir-fry the meat with onions and garlic.

Step 3 Add onions and garlic and fry

Reheat the remaining oil. Then add half the onion and the remaining garlic. Saute until the onions are soft and add the pork chops. Continue frying for 2 minutes. Add the remaining marinade and water and wait for it to boil.

4. Tenderize the meat

Step 4 Tenderize the meat

Place the Knorr pork cubes inside and cover the pot. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting and let everything simmer for 45-60 minutes. However, you can stop or delay it depending on when the pork becomes tender.

5. Combine the sauce

Step 5 Mix the sauce

Take the cornstarch and add it to a container with 1/4 cup of water. Mix them well and then pour the mixture into the pot. Add the remaining onions and cover. Continue cooking for just 3 more minutes. that’s all!

How to serve pork chop steak

All you have to do is arrange your food on your favorite plate. You can also enjoy arranging the yellow onions neatly. I love eating this with rice to balance out the strong flavor of the pork chops.

How to store pork chop steak

Not sure what to do with leftover pork chop steak? If stored properly, it can be eaten even after 3 days! First, the cooked pork must come to room temperature. This is for later refrigerating. Then transfer the dish to an airtight container. You can put this in the fridge and leave it there for about 3 days.

When it comes to reheating, it is expected that the quality of the pork may not be the same. However, since the sauce has soaked into the meat longer, it may have a stronger flavor the next day. Now, get your pot ready and put your pork chop steak in it. Over medium-low heat, cook the pork for about 7 minutes or until the temperature of the dish is satisfied.
