Welcome, gentle readers, to the February 9, 2024 SwitchArcade Roundup. Another week is coming to an end, and there are a surprising number of new games coming out. Not a great selection overall, but plenty of affordable choices that are good value. Before we get into it, I have some news from my friend Mikhail. What is that? i’m so excited. Once he gets behind the mic, I’ll do my usual to tell you about new releases and sales. Alright, let’s go!

Library of Ruina gets new console gameplay trailer

Arc System Works America and Project Moon have debuted new gameplay for Library of Ruina, one of my most anticipated console ports in a while. I love deck builders and story-driven games, and this is a combination of both. At the urging of a friend, I looked it up on Steam, and it turns out it’s been announced for consoles and will be released for Switch and PlayStation this spring. The new trailer includes a taste of the console gameplay and the new Japanese voiceover that will be added to this new version.

new release

Prisonella DX ($4.99)

This high-precision platformer focuses on small levels of difficult challenges, all delivered in random order, so you never know which challenge will come next. When you die, you start again from another randomly selected level, so he only has one shot in each level. good? bad? I think he is just one of today’s affordable options.

Jubilee ($9.99)

A precision platformer whose main character is imprisoned for not paying his debts. Run and jump your way to freedom, collect gems, rescue animals, and do it all over again with another character. There’s nothing too flashy or innovative here, but it’s well made for what it is.

Deadly Danger ($4.99)

Take on the role of a nameless hero armed with a scythe and two pistols as he embarks on an adventure to defeat the bad guys. It’s a twin-stick action game with roguelite elements, as is the style these days, and it couldn’t be simpler. Clear each stage while fighting against enemies. So it’s clearly death. I’m not fooling anyone, “unsung hero”!

.TEST: Expected behavior ($7.99)

It’s a first-person puzzle action game where you use your ability to manipulate time to solve problems at hand. It’s one of those games that clearly takes inspiration from Portal, and unfortunately one of the games that isn’t that good. It’s very difficult to control and you can tell it was originally designed for a PC interface. If you can master it, over 100 levels await you.

MazM: Pechka ($14.99)

This is a little different from the previous one Mazum It is a game in that it is not an adaptation of a literary work. Rather, the setting is Vladivostok in 1908 after the Russo-Japanese War. You’ll have a front row seat to the Korean independence movement, or at least parts of it, with all the historical figures who appear and appear in the story. Your choices and actions will determine which ending the game will have, primarily the fate of the fictional protagonist Peter.

Expulsion ($4.99)

This is a compact puzzle game that: room or da vinci’s house. Using clues found in a book left behind by a person named Charlotte, you must translate a mysterious language and unravel the strange situation you find yourself in. You might scratch an itch if you need to scratch it.

Just Find It Collector’s Edition ($9.99)

Look for hidden objects… with visually busy photos!

Nature Escapes 3 Collector’s Edition ($14.99)

Look for hidden objects… Originally! Also!

First Time in Hawaii Collector’s Edition ($11.99)

Look for hidden objects… in hawaii!

Big Adventure: European Travel 5 Collector’s Edition ($14.99)

Look for hidden objects… in europe!

The Nomu ($4.99)

Another budget game from QubicGames. This is a level-based overhead stealth action game where you play as someone who has been turned into a monster. You seek out the doctor who did this to you so you can reverse it. You’ll end up doing a lot of naughty things along the way, but it’s okay because you’re a monster.

Golf Night ($12.99)

From the name you might expect something like desert golf, but no, this is just a regular overhead golf game. 4 different locations, several upgrades to buy, single player only. Like other Red.Deer games, this one also comes with a very deep discount right away. Don’t pay full price. That being said, if you like golf games, this is decent.

Bin Bunch

Forklift Simulator 2024 ($12.99)

Football Simulator 2024 ($9.99)

Crocs World 4 ($4.99)

Borzoi Adventure ($3.99)

Drone Delivery Simulator ($6.99)

Special Forces Assault: Tactical Hostage Rainbow ($11.99)

Galactic War: Defend the Star World ($9.99)

Truck Simulator USA Revolution ($17.99)

(North American e-shop, US price)

Today’s list is pretty big, fitting for Friday.good game like Brotart, Hades, 30XX, Final Vendetta, and more, so keep an eye on your inbox to see what’s going on. To balance that out, the outgoing box is quite small. It’s small. There’s really nothing to worry about. So if your first list seems long, just put them together and divide by 2, etc. It’s mathematics! Everyone loves math!
