Drink water

Did I mention that “drinking a lot of water” has no effect? It may not be enough, but it’s a good start. Staying hydrated is essential to kick-start your spring glow.

Exfoliation is essential for glowing skin. Use a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and reveal fresh, glowing skin underneath. This allows your skin care products to penetrate deeper and work more effectively to start the new season ahead.

I hydrated myself with plenty of water, but I need to hydrate my skin as well. Invest in a good moisturizer to keep your skin soft and smooth. Look out for ingredients like hyaluronic acid and glycerin to lock in moisture.

Be sure to use barrier protection products to protect your glowing skin. As the days get longer and the sun’s rays get stronger, don’t forget to protect your skin from UV rays. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily.

eat beautifully

Of course, beautiful, glowing skin starts from within. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants can help protect your skin from damage and keep you looking and feeling healthy. Check out my book Eat Beautiful for the best skin-friendly foods to add to your spring diet.

Add skin-friendly supplements like biotin and collagen to your regime. Taking a daily probiotic supplement can also help improve gut health and improve skin condition.

hit snooze

Good sleep is essential for healthy, glowing skin. Aim for 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep each night.
