Hey everyone! How is it this week? I hope things are going well so far. We met friends for dinner and attended a great hot yoga class.

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my latest review of my beloved sauna blanket. higher dose. Every time I post about this magical wonder on my Instagram stories, I get bombarded with questions. I did quite a bit of research before finally testing the HigherDOSE Sauna Her Blanket, so I’ll explain everything in detail in this post.

I have been using this beauty for over a year now and there are so many great things about it. It has become one of the non-negotiables in my weekly health routine and makes a huge difference to my skin and mood.

What is the HigherDOSE Sauna Blanket and how does it work?

HigherDOSE Sauna Blanket is a home and portable version of an infrared sauna. It uses infrared heat (which warms your body from the inside out, rather than the other way around) and a layer of healing tourmaline crystals, clay, and charcoal (essentially a magnetic layer that produces negative ions). It’s made from non-toxic materials and has a very low EMF, so it won’t emit radiation all over your body when you’re relaxing and sweating.

To set up, simply unfold and insert the blanket. You can easily adjust the heat level with the remote, and I usually heat it for about 10 minutes.

Advantages of infrared sauna:

Sauna means “bathhouse” in Finnish, and heat therapy has been used for thousands of years. Infrared technology was born in the late 1800s. Over time, saunas have been used for a variety of purposes, including the treatment and prevention of disease, burial preparation, and childbirth. (It was interesting to read a little about this) Click here for the history of sauna!) It envelops the circle of life, and heat was considered a powerful protective and life-giving force.

Obviously, technology has changed a lot since then, but many people still use saunas today for their health and restorative benefits. You can find them at gyms and spas, and many people even have them at home. Saunas can help fight aging, disease, detoxification, healthy glowing skin, increase blood flow, improve circulation, reduce anxiety, muscle pain, relaxation, and improve mood. While not everyone agrees with detoxification (some say it’s a superstition, I’m a big believer in the detoxifying power of a good sweat), I find sweat brightens my skin and improves my mood. I noticed that my health improved and I felt better. It’s nice and relaxing when it’s a regular part of my routine.

Here are some advantages and disadvantages of High dose option:

Strong Points:

– Small and easy to carry!! I wish I had a full-sized home infrared sauna, but I don’t have the space here. It’s weird having to build something in your closet. I considered the backyard option, but living in Arizona, I’m really scared of snakes and scorpions coming into my sauna. The HigherDOSE Infrared Sauna Blanket offers the same infrared benefits, but is smaller and more compact so you can easily move it around. I usually use it on my office floor or in my living room.

– It feels amazing. I am addicted to how great it makes me feel and can use it every day. (I usually have time to sweat 3-4 times a week, usually after I put the staff to bed. I just listen to podcasts or stream shows on my iPad.) I really sweat. I love sweating and it fills me up. Endorphins. After using it, my skin becomes brighter and I sleep like a baby. Even though I worked hard on strength training, I didn’t notice any muscle soreness.

Cons:

– I’ve come back to this post three times and still can’t think of anything. I’m very happy with it and haven’t found any issues or issues. My only downside is that the older version of the blanket had Velco closures. Updated with a zipper closure that is extremely easy to use.

Tips on using the HigherDOSE sauna blanket:

Always read the instructions and guidelines when using the blanket. However, these are just some of my tips.

– Plug in and heat for about 10 minutes. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Consider dry brushing while you wait to wake up the lymphatic system.

– Think about your preferred sauna attire. We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable, loose-fitting clothing and fully immersing yourself in the blanket. I’m wearing lightweight cotton joggers, a tank, a long sleeve t-shirt over it, and full socks. Also, if you put a small towel under your coccyx, your butt will be pressed against the tile blanket and it will get too hot. We also added a sauna towel insert that can be used as an alternative.

– Find something to enjoy during your sauna time. Reading books is very difficult because you have to keep pushing your arm forward to turn the pages, but you can read TV shows, movies, audiobooks, podcasts, etc. without any problems.

– Let’s sweat! Experiment with heat settings and times to see what works best for you. It is recommended that you do not start too hot or for too long, and gradually increase the temperature. You will notice that your heart rate increases a little and you begin to sweat. Generally, users prefer a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 45 minutes. It feels amazing. My sweet spot is level 7 and 35 minutes. (I always set a timer on my phone so I don’t fall asleep!)

– After getting out of the blanket, open it to start drying and get into the shower. After you shower, your blanket will be a little cool, so you can give it a thorough cleaning with these wipes.these are the same cleaning wipes I use it on Peloton! I always unplug the power cord when I’m finished using it. Then you want to take a cold shower and enjoy the benefits of hot and cold therapy.

– Once it’s completely dry and cool, I fold it up and slide it under my bed for storage. (Please store the cord in a loose loop so that it is not wrapped or bundled.)

– We also have travel bags that are very convenient for traveling! I will definitely be taking it with me on my next road trip.

that’s it! If you want to try it out, use code FITNESSISTA15. here 15% off. This has been my favorite purchase for a long time. I also love PEMF Go Mat and Red Light Face Mask. My discount code FITNESSISTA15 applies to all of these.
