The long-awaited Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 may be coming soon.At least that’s it According to a new report from Exputer.

According to author eXtas1s, Ninja Theory’s new Xbox exclusive game will launch on May 21, 2024, with the release date expected to be officially announced at the Developer Direct on January 18th.

eXtas1s has leaked some information so far, including the release date of Redfall. Prior to this, his last exclusive scoop was that he predicted the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox is his December 6th date. This turned out to be a mistake, but the game was actually released on December 8th, just two days apart.

“Due to informant anonymity issues, we cannot reveal the source of the information, but the information is reliable enough to be discussed in advance,” eXtas1s said.

The Developer Direct lists Hellblade 2 as one of the games being shown off, but specifically describes something more like a behind-the-scenes look at Ninja Theory’s studio.

If this information turns out to be accurate, Hellblade 2 will be one of Microsoft’s four planned first-party releases for the year, ending in the second quarter. But that still leaves a big gap in the first quarter, leading us to wonder if Microsoft will do another shadow drop like last year’s Hi-Fi Rush (rumored to be coming to Switch and PS5). There’s some speculation, but this time it’s a Double Fine game.

Personally, I’m excited about the idea that Hellblade 2 might be on the horizon, but I’m also excited about Nonja Theory and the fact that Microsoft will release some solid gameplay footage despite showing off the game multiple times. I’m a little worried about being reluctant. However, I think such worries will be unfounded.
