Hey everyone! Happy Friday! How was your week? It was a whirlwind for us, but we had a lot of fun.

We had a choir performance last Friday, early Saturday morning we drove to Phoenix for Liv’s dance contest, we spent the night, the pilot and IP arrived by car, and they were on the second day of the dance contest. While staying in Phoenix for Sunday’s performance, I rushed home.

We caught the shuttle from Tucson to Phoenix early Monday morning, got rushed to the airport, drove to Anaheim for a few days to enjoy Disney, and then headed to San Diego for a few days. After a really fun adventure and spring break, I’m finally home!

It certainly felt good sleeping in our bed last night and I’m looking forward to a low-key Easter weekend with my family. I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to!

It’s time for your favorite party every Friday! Here we share some of our favorite finds from the week and around the web. I love hearing about your favorites too, so give your favorites a shout out in the comments section below.

Friday Favorites 3.29

Spring break vacation:

Photos from our Disney and San Diego adventure:

We had dinner at our usual Goofy’s Kitchen (so delicious and so much fun to start the trip!)

With my best girls:

These kids rallied. We closed Disneyland and returned to the hotel at 1am. Then we slept until 10am the next day (lol).

Point Loma Moniker/Craft Creamery offers dreamy vegan ice cream:

(I liked it so much that I ordered 8 pints online.) It’s organic soy ice cream, and the ingredients aren’t the best I’ve seen, but it’s ice cream. If you want to treat yourself, here’s a link to the creamery!)

Coronado beach hours:

Always the best drink ever, half sweet:

And the best poke I’ve had in San Diego is from It’s Low in Point Loma.

We also enjoyed a wonderful take-out dinner from OB Noodle House with the Kreiger family at Betsy’s house.

It was a perfect trip!

Read, watch, listen:

I still love this book This might be my next favorite of her works. nightingale. It is beautifully written and the story is captivating. If you like historical novels, please check it out.

What are the five movies you would like to see the most over and over again?

Give hope and encouragement during difficult times.

Fitness, health and delicious food:

21 Day Dr. Cabral Detox Summary and Recipes

EquiLife is currently having a Founders Sale. You can stack my code FITNESSISTA10 on current offers (products only; does not work on labs as they are heavily discounted during sales).

Here’s what I recommend:

7 day detox. Perfect for a little ‘spring cleaning’, it’s a great way to remove toxins and restore deficiencies while giving your liver a little more love. This was my introduction to his EquiLife (I also got my IHP certification) and I’ve been a fan ever since. My clients have also had amazing success with: this detox!

A versatile binder! I love using this before sauna sessions, hot yoga, or when eating something I wouldn’t normally consume (like alcohol or fried food).

Full spectrum magnesium. I take this every night and sleep like a baby 🙂 It is important to use a balanced amount of magnesium that includes different forms. They each have different purposes and work together.

Daily nutritional support. I eat this daily as a protein pudding (mixed with Truvani or Now Foods Protein), in my oatmeal, or in my smoothies. It is packed with vitamins and nutrients and is perfect as a daily multivitamin.

Best weighted blanket. It’s very comfortable and also helps protect you from electromagnetic waves.

big 5 lab and starter kit discount. This is one of the only times you’ll get a discount on all five major labs. You can purchase labs through these links. If you would like me to look at it with you, please email me before ordering (gina@fitnessista.com subject LABS). You can include my Vitality platform or coaching calls and make sure your results are tracked by me.

Deviled egg potato salad.

Fashion + Beauty:

Click here for Beauty Counter Clean Eau de Parfum. This launch took him 10 years and they didn’t want to launch the fragrance until they got it right. At Beautycounter, this means using the cleanest ingredients possible and rigorously testing them for safety. The new scent is very beautiful, completely different (!) and has great staying power. You can try them all out by purchasing the Discovery Set here for $40.

Happy Friday, friends! Have a great weekend! See you soon!
