MANILA, Philippines — Francis Casey Alcantara and Indonesian partner Christopher Lungkat dominated India’s M25 Chennai as the Filipino netter won his 20th International Tennis Federation (ITF) doubles title.

Alcantara and Runkat defeated Bogdan Bobrov and Adil Kalyanpour 6-4, 6-2 in just 59 minutes to win the $25,000 championship.

The Filipino-Indonesian pair won a close first set, dominated the second set to a 5-2 start, and never looked back as they sought their third championship.

Alcantara and Lungkat both won two titles in Malaysia last year, dominating the M15 Kuala Lumpur and M15 Ipoh Perak.

Alcantara, 31, has won 20 of his 42 ITF final appearances in doubles.

Alcantara and Runkat were the top seeds of the tournament, defeating Bernard Tomic and Alexei Shtengelov 6-1, 7-5 in the first round, and Orel Kimhi and Ofek Szymanov 6-3, 6-2 in the quarterfinals. It broke.

The champion duo defeated David Pichler and Sandro Kopp in three sets 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 in the semifinals on Friday.

Alex Eala also won the doubles title at the W50 Pune in India, with Latvian partner Darja Semenistaya defeating top seeds Naikta Bains and Fanny Stoller 7-6 (8) 6-3 on Saturday. It broke.
